Personal care: Required for all except one (prompting only)
Hoists & moving and handling: Required - high confidence essential
Wheelchairs: Five individuals use wheelchairs
Eating support:
One individual requires PEG support (when fluid intake is low)
Dysphagia awareness required (training provided)
Medication:
One individual has epilepsy (Buccal training provided)
Family involvement:

Someone who loves trains, role-play, church visits and practical jokes
A gentleman requiring 2:1 support with cerebral palsy, dysphagia and mobility needs
Someone who enjoys mechanics, fixing bikes and woodwork sessions
A lady who enjoys nursery rhymes, stories and intensive interaction
This is a service where singing, silliness, facial expressions, humour and energy are genuinely part of great support.
What you will be doing (Days)
Your role will include:
Providing personal care and daily support
Confident use of hoists and moving & handling equipment
Supporting communication using sounds, gestures and intensive interaction
PEG support and medication administration (training provided)
