Job Description

INK is an award-winning creative post-production studio with offices in London, Paris, Amsterdam and New York, known for pushing boundaries across Stills, Motion and CGI, and collaborating with the world’s most iconic brands. The Ingest Coordinator is responsible for the efficient intake, organisation and preparation of media assets entering the production or post-production workflow. This role ensures all incoming content is properly logged, verified, transcoded where necessary and delivered to the appropriate teams in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically capable and comfortable working in fast-paced media environments where deadlines and accuracy are critical. Key Responsibilities • Receive, verify, and log incoming media assets from multiple sources (e.g. file transfer, physical media, cloud delivery) • Perform quality control (QC) checks to ensure files meet technical and content standards • Transcode media files into required formats using designated software and workflows • Maintain accurate metadata and asset tracking within the media asset management (MAM) or production systems • Organise and archive media files according to established naming conventions and storage protocols • Coordinate with production, editorial and technical teams to prioritise ingest tasks • Troubleshoot basic file or transfer issues and escalate complex technical problems when required • Monitor storage capacity and assist with data management and clean-up procedures • Ensure adherence to security, compliance and data handling policies • Maintain clear documentation of workflows and ingest procedures • May require shift work, including evenings, weekends or holidays depending on operational needs • Role may involve handling large volumes of digital media and working under time-sensitive deadlines • This role requires you to work on-site from our studio in Dalston, Hackney Required Skills and Experience • Experience working in media operations, post-production, broadcast or digital content environments • Familiarity with media file formats, codecs and transcoding processes • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously • Basic technical troubleshooting skills • Proficiency with file transfer systems and shared storage environments • Good communication and teamwork skills • Comfortable working with standard office and media management software Desirable Skills • Experience with Media Asset Management (MAM) or Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems • Knowledge of broadcast or streaming delivery standards • Familiarity with video editing or post-production workflows • Understanding of metadata standards and file naming conventions • Experience working in high-volume content environments
