Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (to July)
Salary: £93 - £105 per day (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)
About the role
Heart of Supply is really pleased to be supporting a friendly primary academy in Lincoln as they look to welcome a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to work across nursery and EYFS. This EYFS Teaching Assistant role offers the chance to be part of those early, meaningful moments that help children feel settled, curious and ready to learn.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be involved in a busy, play based setting where phonics, early number skills and learning through exploration sit at the heart of each day. The school is keen to appoint a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant with a good understanding of the Early Years framework and the flexibility to support children with different abilities and needs.
A calm and caring approach is essential, as you will be helping children build confidence, manage routines and develop socially as well as academically. If you are a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant who enjoys working closely with young learners and being part of a supportive early years team, this could be a lovely next step.

What you will need:
- Experience supporting children in a school, nursery, or education-based setting
- Clear, professional communication and a proactive, reliable attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively with school staff
- A minimum of 6 weeks’ experience working with children in a similar setting in the UK
- A kind, confident, and calm approach, with a genuine passion for helping pupils succeed
- The ability to follow a teacher’s lead while using your initiative to support individuals and small groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible and proactive attitude, ready to step into different classrooms and year groups
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent
