About the role This Copywriter should poss es s an understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and be able to communicate brand objectiv es to authentically connect with audienc es . The Copywriter will need to translate complex details of various therapeutic areas (Oncology, CVRM, RIA, V&I and RDU) and thoroughly understand the products, their scientific position, brand guidelin es , and marketing goals to develop dig es tible promotional content and m es saging across channels. This position requir es a highly detailed, creative thinker with excellent storytelling abiliti es , as well as a love for life scienc es , r es earch, and annotation. This role will help craft bold and evocative marketing m es sag es , promotional-only training materials, and digital content that engag es and influenc es sal es teams, HCPs, and patients and their caregivers. What you’ll do Creating and executing innovative and effective content strategi es and communication campaigns based on secondary market r es earch and insights Analysing available data for a market, competitors, and the needs/preferenc es of our audience to help our team create relatable and captivating content R es p onsible for ensuring the quality of all externally facing content and adherence to our brand voice, tone, and writing style Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creativity from concepts through execution Monitoring the execution of the es tablished plans and strategi es Deciding on content formats and publishing dat es Managing the creation of editorial calendars and adhering to the proposed timelin es Supporting creative teams with feedback and guidance on scientific accuracy R es earch and understand the clients’ needs and target audienc es , through an online search, review of existing r es earch, and interviews with subject matter experts Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials; use referenc es and annotations as needed Collaborate with a team of client service managers, strategists, and creative staff on timelin es , allocated r es ourc es , and creative execution Pr es ent copy concepts and final deliverabl es to the internal team, and to the client as needed, and participate in client pitch es on occasion Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction Participate in the regulatory r es p onsibiliti es and requirements to gain asset approvals Meets es tablished deadlin es or provid es reasonable notice of special circumstanc es requiring deadline extension About you Minimum 5 + years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in promotional content development for pharma industry (pharma marketing/health care advertising/sal es / copywriting) A degree/diploma in health science (medicine/pharma/biology/bioscienc es etc) AND/OR a degree/diploma in communications with experience of copywriting for pharma promotional marketing. Any additional marketing degree/certification/diploma will be a plus Experience with print + digital assets in pharma marketing. Experience with global brands will be a plus.
