The interviews will be held in person at the Warrington site. We offer hybrid working (minimum 3 days on site) with the main base being Warrington Hospital. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will have 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) and experience working in a busy finance office environment, preferably within the NHS, and will possess excellent communication and organisational skills. The Assistant Costing Accountant will report directly to the Costing Accountant and will play a key part in helping process quarterly Service Line Reporting.  They will work with complex, varied datasets across a range of systems and will be encouraged to challenge and streamline current processes. The postholder will also support the team in processing the annual National Cost Collection submission to NHSE and will assist with any ad hoc benchmarking requests to support the Trusts cost improvement requirements. You must be capable of working to tight deadlines whilst ensuring consistency and accuracy, able to prioritise your own workload and be able to work on your own initiative.
