Our client is a highly professional business within the ecommerce sector, who are looking for a new Assistant Accountant to join them on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Double entry bookkeeping using Xero software Bank / credit card reconciliation Entering a high volume of transactions onto software Assisting the Finance Manager with month end duties Undertaking payment runs, ensuring payments are authorised Assisting with VAT returns Working with multiple currencies The company are looking for someone to work circa 22-25 hours per week and can be flexible regarding how these are spread across the week, however hours must be done within core business hours Mon-Fri 8am-6pm. There is opportunity to work remotely for the majority of this role, with some meeting attendance. You will need strong double-entry bookkeeping knowledge, with a strong understanding of Xero software.
