Nursery Practitioner – Level 3 (Full-Time) Location: Hove Salary: From £12.71 per hour, plus bonuses and benefits Start Date: ASAP Your new company We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our warm, friendly, and family-run early years setting. From messy play to outdoor adventures, you’ll help create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child feels safe, confident, and celebrated. Your new role Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development Supervise and support children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods Ensure the safety, welfare, and safeguarding of all children at all times Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, observations, and daily routines Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Organise and manage daily room operations, including resources and activity planning Lead by example in following nursery policies, procedures, and best practice Support and mentor junior team members to help them grow professionally Contribute to an inclusive environment that respects diversity and individual needs What you'll need to succeed Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting Strong understanding of child development and EYFS principles Confident communication skills, both written and verbal Experience supervising or leading staff is desirable NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) is essential This role is ideal for someone who is caring, proactive, and committed to making a meaningful difference in children’s early experiences.
