Job Description
Contract: Fixed term, full-time (37.5 hours per week) for 12 months
Salary: £30,000 PA
Location: Home based, with travel across Scotland
Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (ARC) is a national wildlife charity dedicated to the conservation of our native amphibians and reptiles. An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, team-focused, self-starter to join our Regional Projects Team in the role of Scotland Coordinator.
Overall Purpose of Role
The successful candidate will coordinate delivery of ARC’s current projects in Scotland - Coastal Treasures of the Eastern Solway (part of Species on the Edge project – SotE) and Saving Scotland’s Amphibians and Reptiles project (SSAAR) and, through fundraising, advocacy etc. develop future Scottish projects which will further ARC’s aim of conserving amphibians and reptiles and saving their disappearing habitats. One of the key responsibilities of this role will be to line manage ARC’s SotE Project Officer.
