We’re supporting a sustainability-driven data centre operator expanding across Denmark. As a Controls / BMS Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of mission-critical operations, ensuring building systems are intelligently monitored, optimised and always performing at their best.
This role is about more than alarms and dashboards. You’ll fine-tune the automation and control systems that manage power, cooling and environmental performance across a high-availability facility.

We’re supporting a sustainability-driven data centre operator expanding across Denmark. As a Controls / BMS Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of mission-critical operations, ensuring building systems are intelligently monitored, optimised and always performing at their best.
This role is about more than alarms and dashboards. You’ll fine-tune the automation and control systems that manage power, cooling and environmental performance across a high-availability facility.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Manage and optimise Building Management Systems (BMS) and control systems
- Monitor and control critical infrastructure including HVAC, chillers, pumps and power systems
- Troubleshoot system faults and implement corrective actions
- Support commissioning and integration of new control systems
- Analyse performance data to improve efficiency and reliability
- Ensure alarm management and reporting meets SLA and compliance standards
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to enhance uptime
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience as a BMS Engineer, Controls Engineer or Data Centre Controls Specialist
- Strong knowledge of BMS platforms, PLC systems and SCADA
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
- Experience in mission-critical environments (data centres, industrial, pharma)
- Ability to read control schematics and technical drawings
- Knowledge of energy management and optimisation strategies
