Material QC Inspector – Liverpool Bay CCS Project

Contract Info:
- Contractor role – full time (up to 5.5 days/week when required)
- Outside IR35
- Location: Talacre - North Wales
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Competitive day rate
Purpose of the position:
As Materiasl QC Inspector, you will report to the Quality Control Manager and join the ENI Liverpool Bay Decommissioning & Carbon Capture Project.
You will be responsible for executing inspections on materials, instrumentation and equipment received on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and QC requirements.
Overview of responsibilities:
- Execute inspection and QC activities on all incoming materials and equipment, ensuring correct receipt, storage, preservation and handling
- Analyse Purchase Orders and Project Specifications (visual and dimensional checks) to verify supply accuracy
- Carry out visual inspections on delivered materials, verifying integrity and correct identification/marking
- Prepare MRR / MIR and liaise with the client regarding received materials
- Ensure inspections, material certifications and quality records are managed in line with Codes, Standards and QC Plans / ITPs
- Manage and organise documentation for test records, inspections and controls, ensuring full traceability for As-Built dossiers
- Issue Inspection Material Reports, Receiving Inspection Reports and NCRs
- Support subcontractor activities by verifying implementation of approved QC Plans / ITPs, witnessing inspections and collecting QC records
What are we looking for?
- Proven years in material control / QC on construction sites within the Oil & Gas industry or similar.
- Relevant degree or diploma
- QC experience across structural, mechanical, civil and electrical materials/equipment, with knowledge of international standards
- IT: MS365, Excel
