Job overview Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust St Helens and Knowsley sites Clinical Support Services Radiology Radiology PACS Support/Receptionist Band 2 37.5 Hours per week Full Time Position A vacancy has arisen for a full time PACS Support/Receptionist team member in the Radiology Department. The successful candidate will be expected to provide a patient focussed service working on various Reception desks within Radiology at both Whiston and St. Helens sites, facilitate the transmission of images to other hospitals when required, and perform a wide variety of PACS duties to assist with patient care. Applicants should be hard working, flexible, motivated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Initiative and computer literacy are also essential for this role. As the Radiology Department operates a 7-day service, the post will include weekend, evening and Bank Holiday duties on a rota basis. The JD & PS are currently under AfC review and are subject to change.
