We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Order Picker to join the warehouse team for a multinational engineering company near Morley. You will play a key role in ensuring parts and products are picked accurately and prepared for dispatch in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Order Picker
- Picking customer orders using pick sheets, scanners, or warehouse systems
- Locating stock within the warehouse and retrieving items safely
- Packing and labelling products ready for shipment
- Checking quantities, part numbers, and product quality before dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries when required
- Moving stock using pallet trucks, FLT - Reach Truck desirable
- Keeping warehouse areas clean, organised, and safe
- Supporting stock counts and inventory checks
- General order picker duties
Skills & Experience Required for the Order Picker
- Previous experience in warehouse, stores, or order picking roles
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and comfortable manual handling duties
- FLT / Reach / Counterbalance licence advantageous
- Good team player with a positive attitude
