You will possess excellent communication skills, work well as part of a team and have the ability to work in a busy and challenging environment whilst using your own initiative. Main duties of the job To clear crockery, etc used outside routine clearing periods. To tidy/clean sluice and linen storage areas as required. To tidy and clean other areas on the ward on a daily or weekly as planned/scheduled. To assist with meals, support patients, staff and relatives as required as the ward has a protected meal times policy. To support with hydration and nutrition rounds Cleaning of all equipment on the ward. Ordering of stock/supplies and storage To create and maintain effective working relationships with other members of staff. To answer the telephone in a professional manner. To follow Health and Safety policies relevant to working environment and attend mandatory updates in accordance with Trust policy eg fire procedure and food hygiene. To adhere
