Working Hours: 4 hours per week, 07:30 AM – 09:30 AM (Weekends – Saturday & Sunday)
Pay Rate: £ 12.85 Per Hour

Role Overview
We are looking for a Cleaner to support cleaning operations at a busy public visitor centre.
This role involves maintaining cleanliness across public areas, ensuring hygiene standards are met, and contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out general cleaning duties across the visitor centre

Clean floors, surfaces, washrooms, and public areas

Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately

Replenish cleaning supplies and consumables where required

Ensure all cleaning is carried out in line with health & safety standards

Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors

Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors
Person Specification
Must Have
-
Previous cleaning experience (commercial or public environment preferred)

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Good attention to detail

Reliable and punctual

Basic understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards
Nice to Have
-
Experience working in a public facility (e.g., parks, visitor centres, council buildings)

Knowledge of cleaning equipment and materials

Awareness of COSHH regulations
