Collide Technical is working with a well-established precision engineering company in Poole is currently seeking a Semi-Skilled CNC Miller to join their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with machining experience looking to further develop their skills within a structured and quality-driven environment.

The Role

Working within a busy machine shop, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines using FANUC , producing high-quality prismatic components to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines (FANUC Oi-MF control system)
• Producing components in line with engineering drawings and specifications
• Tool setting and making offset adjustments
• Inspecting your own work in line with drawing and SPC requirements
• Maintaining a clean, organised work area in line with 5S standards
• Ensuring consistent quality and adherence to production targets

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in CNC milling (setting and/or operating)
• Familiarity with FANUC controls is highly desirable
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience using inspection equipment
• A reliable, detail-focused approach
• Willingness to learn and develop
