Technologist Cambridgeshire Circa £35,000 + wider benefits The kind of role that gives you exposure, responsibility and a clear path to progress. You’re not looking for a role where you just maintain spreadsheets and tick off specifications. You want to understand how things work, improve them and see the impact of what you do in a fast-moving, real-world operation. This is a Technologist role with a well-established fresh produce business supplying all major UK retailers and it has come about from internal progression of the current Technologist, showing you how the business invests in and grows its people. People who perform well here don’t stay static, they progress and so could you! This role offers the chance to step into a critical area of the technical function allowing you to shape how it operates. The Operation at a Glance This growing food manufacturer operates a complex, 24/7 operation in their fresh produce facility processing over 60,000 tonnes of produce annually. With 2 wash lines and 12 packing lines for both organic and conventional SKUs. The site turns over £65m annually and supplies major UK retailers with the finest quality produce. They have a flat structure, a people-focused ethos and an appetite for innovation and growth. Over the last 12 months they have prioritised recruitment that considers not only technical capability but also alignment with their values and long-term strategy.
