We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team at Cygnet Lodge. Cygnet Lodge is an 8 bed Neuropsychiatric rehabilitation, care and treatment facility for those affected by acquired brain injuries. The service provides a safe and secure place to aid recovery as well as offering those diagnosed with a progressive neurological disease, like Huntington's Disease, a caring and long term placement to support and help manage the progression of their symptoms. Your Day-to-Day… You'll be working 42 hours a week in Cygnet Lodge with Service Users with Acquired Brain Injury £13.15 per hour, rising to £13.45 after 3 months. • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support • Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way • Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required • Safeguard • Maintain a safe and clean environment for all You are… • Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people's lives • An excellent communicator and a good team player • Sensitive and intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment • Helping to empower & support service user ind ependence.
