Job Description

Workforce Coordinator Pay Rate: £13.33 per hour Contract: This is a temp to perm role Location: Mainly work from home however occasional site visits. Hours: 0900-1730pm - Monday - Friday Role Overview As a supervisor, you will take ownership of managing the temporary workforce to ensure smooth operations and high levels of client satisfaction. Acting as the key link between the client and the workforce, you will monitor performance, resolve queries, recruit new team members, and ensure all shifts are fully covered. This role is fundamental to delivering and exceeding client expectations. Key Responsibilities Workforce Management Monitor and track sickness, absence, and lateness. Approve holiday requests and manage scheduling changes. Support with shift handbacks, unfilled shifts, and open shifts. Ensure adequate staffing levels within the site. Recruitment & On boarding Recruit new candidates into the temporary workforce to meet operational demands. Conduct candidate screening. Support new starters through induction and initial shift allocation. Site Visits Visits to client site to review workforce performance and compliance. Build strong working relationships with Supervisors and on-site staff. Address and resolve on-site issues swiftly and professionally. Communication & Reporting Distribute updated communications or shift time amendments as provided by the client. Provide detailed handovers to the Adecco team at the end of each shift. System Management Manage staff clock-ins, including manual adjustments where required. Ensure accurate time recording. Log lateness, sickness, and shift hand backs correctly. Requirements Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload. A proactive, enthusiastic, and positive attitude. Strong customer service and influencing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. High level of computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
