Rate: £23–£25 per hour Location: Morden (with some requirement to support other sites if needed) Contract: Temporary – until the end of the academic year Hours: 2.5 days per week (flexible working arrangement) About the Role We are currently recruiting an experienced HR Advisor to support the HR Operations team within a Further Education College . This is a temporary role offering flexibility in how the hours are worked. The postholder will provide day-to-day HR generalist support, managing routine HR administration and employee relations activity, whilst also contributing to HR projects as required. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day generalist HR support to managers and staff across the college Advise on a range of employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, performance, and capability issues Support managers with the application of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation Manage and maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, and HR systems, ensuring confidentiality and data protection compliance Assist with the recruitment lifecycle, including advert preparation, shortlisting support, offer letters, and onboarding Support absence monitoring and sickness case management in line with college policy Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, variation letters, and management guidance notes Key Requirements Proven generalist HR experience Confidence managing day-to-day HR activity and administration Ability to support HR projects and initiatives Experience working in education or the public sector is desirable, but not essential Why Work with Reed?
