Registered Nurse - Complex Care

Location: Hampshire Job Types: Full-time | Part-time | Temporary (Ongoing) MedGen Healthcare is seeking highly skilled, compassionate Complex Care Nurses to deliver advanced, high-quality clinical support to individuals with significant and long-term health needs within the community. This role focuses on supporting patients with high-acuity, complex conditions to remain safely in their own homes. You will play a critical role in delivering specialist interventions, promoting clinical stability, and enhancing quality of life through expert, person-centred care. The Role As an RGN specialising in complex homecare, you will deliver advanced nursing interventions and take responsibility for the ongoing clinical assessment and management of patients with multifaceted healthcare needs. You will: Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care within the patient’s home environment. Independently manage and deliver complex clinical interventions , including but not limited to: Tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management Ventilation support (invasive and non-invasive) Enteral feeding (PEG, PEJ, NG) and nutritional management Complex catheterisation and bowel care Advanced wound care and pressure ulcer management Stoma care and management of associated complications Medication administration, including IV therapies and controlled drugs Oxygen therapy and respiratory monitoring Seizure recognition and emergency management Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments , monitoring and interpreting vital signs and patient condition. Recognise and respond appropriately to clinical deterioration and emergencies . Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and carers to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation in line with CQC and NMC standards. Requirements Active NMC Pin (RGN) Minimum 1 year UK experience in this role . Demonstrable competency in complex clinical skills (e.g. tracheostomy, ventilation, PEG feeding) Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Practical Manual Handling & Basic Life Support certification Full UK Driver’s Licence (preferred but not essential) What We Offer Competitive Pay Rates: £45.00 – £52.00 per hour Mileage Reimbursement: 20p per mile (up to 100 miles) Recognition & Rewards: Length of Service Awards & Employee of the Month Ongoing clinical training and competency development in complex care Support from a dedicated clinical and operations team Why Join MedGen Healthcare?
