The Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Writer to join our content team. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging writer to develop their skills in producing high-quality written content across a variety of formats and platforms.

You will be responsible for writing and delivering a set number of articles per week, contributing to consistent content output on Superyachts.com.

This role is well suited to a university student or someone seeking a second job alongside other commitments, offering flexibility and hands-on writing experience in a fast-paced environment.

Contract & Working Arrangement

• This is a freelance contract role
• You will be responsible for your own taxes, National Insurance, and any applicable filings
• Payment will be made upon invoice submission for completed work
• Flexible working schedule - complete in your own time

Requirements

Content Writing

• Write a set number of articles per week (to be agreed based on availability and workload)
• Produce clear, engaging, and well-structured written content
• Ensure all writing aligns with brand tone, style, and editorial guidelines
• Deliver work consistently and on agreed deadlines

Research & Storytelling

• Research topics thoroughly to produce accurate and engaging content
• Develop original ideas and angles for written features
• Stay informed on relevant trends and subject matter

Editing & Quality Control

• Proofread and self-edit work to maintain high grammatical standards
• Take feedback from senior team members and apply revisions where required

Collaboration

• Work closely with editors and wider team members where required
• Contribute ideas during content planning and brainstorming
